Re: Top ten comedy movies/TV shows
1. Idiocracy
2. Walk Hard
3. Anchorman
4. Step Brothers
5. Groundhog Day
6. Ace Ventura
7. Dumb & Dumber
8-10 Back to the Future I-III (in order)
Joe Bauers from Idiocracy is my favorite character among these, I suppose. He's the most relatable anyway, just some random guy with common sense. As for the film, I'd say it was prophetic or a documentary as people often quip now, but frankly the far flung future where he ended up was better off than where we're actually at now.
Phil Connors would be second. He's actually got a pretty good character arc, and the movie itself is endlessly rewatchable.

Re: Top ten comedy movies/TV shows
...I don't want to repeat stuff. I'll just add, like, 'Harvey Birdman: Attorney-At-Law', 'Mike Tyson Mysteries', 'MXC', 'Flight of the Conchords' and 'Smiling Friends' to the TV biz, and...I don't know, 'Hudson Hawk', 'BASEketball' and 'Kung Pow!' to the movies. That's fair.

Re: Top ten comedy movies/TV shows
I miscounted on the TV shows. I might add 'Don't Trust the B----- in Apt. 23.'
^I think I'd like Harvey Birdman. Loved 'Mike Tyson Mysteries'. 'Flight of The Conchords' was great and I liked 'Garfunkle and Oates' about as much. Got to see the later in concert once.

Re: Top ten comedy movies/TV shows
^Harvey Birdman' is my favourite Adult Swim show ever, bar none. Better than 'Aqua Teens', or 'Sealab', or 'Venture Bros', or even 'Frisky Dingo'. It's so flippin quick-snap clever. Like, 'don't you dare look away for a second, you'll miss it!'-clever. Check it out, honey-bunny------------go at least as long as the Flintstones episode. It starts out rad, and it shoots for the stars.
Garfunkel and Oates...that's Kate Micucci's band, right? Man. I super love Kate Micucci. She's a real live bag o' laughs. She was Sadie on 'Steven Universe', and even aside of that, she's pretty frickin cute, man. I should totally check that out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Re: Top ten comedy movies/TV shows
All of my favorite movies are comedies of one form or another:
Head (favorite character Mike)
UHF (fav character Stanley)
The Princess Bride (fav char Inigo)
Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie (fav Servo)
Stranger Than Fiction (Harold)
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (Knives)
And several of my favorite shows are as well:
Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Crow)
NewsRadio (Jimmy)
The Adventures of Pete & Pete (Artie)
Homestar Runner (Strong Bad)
Yugioh the Abridged Series (Yami)
That's what I've got off the top of my head.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
