Re: Halloween's Coming... what movies are on your list to watch?
I expect I'll watch a whole slew of family-friendly spookedy-ookedy movies with the kids when I head out to Dakota next week-----------------varied 'Addams Family' flicks, 'The Witches', 'Hocus Pocus', 'Ernest Scared Stupid', 'Mister Boogedy', 'Nightmare Before Christmas', and the Sleepy Hollow portion of 'Adventures of Ichabod Crane and Mister Toad', amongst others. Probably add in some terrifying short subjects like 'The Skeleton Dance' and 'Swing You Sinners!' to flavour.
...aside from that, there's a couple more days of monster chiller horror movies at the Times yet. On Friday night I could go to the 6:30 show of 'The Shining' and then hang around and watch 'Fright Night' at 9:45. And then on Saturday, the scurriest of them all-------'Monsters Inc' at 3:45 PM! Ooh, my hair's standing on end just thinking about it.

No movies, but I'm playing Costume Quest 2.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

I'm not watching any movies for Halloween either, but I'm probably going to play a horror game or something. I've never played Dead Space, I might try that out.

Re: Halloween's Coming... what movies are on your list to watch?
...well, we watched 'Hocus Pocus', 'Beetlejuice', 'Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Ernest Scared Stupid'. Sis has AppleTV, so we could watch 'It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown' (I think it's messed up that AppleTV has exclusive rights to show all the Peanuts stuff--------------like why not buy all the rainbows on earth while you're about it).
...Iris is in love with 'Skeleton Dance', so we watched that a bunch, along with 'Haunted House' and 'Mickey and the Mad Doctor'. I didn't put on 'Swing You Sinners!' for the kids, which is a shame---------watching Bimbo run screaming from a horde of haints and spookums is the kind of thing that could affect someone later in life.

Sorry to bump.
The Hallowe'en episode of 'Smiling Friends' is simultaneously the funniest and scariest thing I've ever seen. Any of you guys watch 'Smiling Friends'?
It's the berries.

I've only seen a few clips of Smiling Friends. It's kinda scary or unsettling all the time, so I can only imagine their Halloween stuff. I'll check it out.

You're not wrong.
'Smiling Friends' is one of those shows where...every episode is kind of the Hallowe'en episode.
