Have you seen this movie?
What did you like about it?
What are your favourite quotes?
The film revolves around Kubo, a young boy who wields a magical shamisen (a Japanese stringed instrument) and whose left eye was stolen during infancy. Accompanied by an anthropomorphic snow monkey and beetle, he must embark on a quest to defeat his mother's evil Sisters and his power-hungry grandfather, Raiden the Moon King, who is responsible for stealing his left eye.

I took Sis and the two older kids to see it in-theatre when it came out (Em was a baby, and Iree was a dream yet undreamt, so they weren't along). Good flick. I like stop-motion animation, and I'm pleased it still has some champions.

I was transfixed the first time I saw it. Wonderful film.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
