Re: Futurama
I watched all of the original run, but only saw some of the later stuff. Bender is easily my favorite character, but Fry is good, and Zapp Brannigan is always hilarious too. My favorite episode might be Jurassic Bark, it was surprisingly nice. I don't have any specific memories associated with the series but I remember watching it a lot on Adult Swim.

Re: Futurama
So I've heard 'Futurama' is getting revived again on Hulu. I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Re: Futurama
Latest news I've heard is that John DiMaggio will be back after all.

Re: Futurama
Don't mistake me, I'm not overly pleased that John DiMaggio feels so underpaid for his obvious talent that he considered not returning. And it isn't resolved------------he chose to return without them giving him more money.
'Futurama' needs John DiMaggio a heck of a lot more than John DiMaggio needs 'Futurama'.
Isn't Hulu mostly owned by Disney, one of the richest companies ever? How is Disney unwilling to pay people a reasonable salary? Didn't Comedy Central own and produce 'Futurama' for a while? How is Disney cheaper-ass than Comedy Central?
[EDIT: I kind of wish 'Futurama' would just rest in peace. It wasn't always perfect, but it's had three kind-of-perfect endings already in "Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings", "Into the Wild Green Yonder" and "Meanwhile". Let Fry and Leela have their happily ever after, already. For crying out loud.
...I also wish people would give 'Disenchantment' a fair shake, but, you know...wish in one hand, spit in the other.

Re: Futurama
...my favourite episode was always the one where Fry wins the Willy Wonka contest and tours the Slurm factory. It has some great gags.

Love Futurama. I agree with everything Boo said about DiMaggio getting paid. That said, I expect to enjoy the new content. Slurm Factory episode is great. Big fan of "Hell is Other Robots," "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid," and "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings."
I've watched at least most of Disenchantment. I don't find it has the level of wit of Futurama or prime Simpsons, but it's neat to have one of these shows go with the long story-arc format.

Re: Futurama
...my favourite bit was when the Grunka-Lunkas kept singing about what our heroes shouldn't ask after, and Leela asked about the armed guards, and they sang "grunka lunka dunkity darmed guards", and Bender screamed at them to shut the hell up. Comedy gold.

Re: Futurama
I don't think there's one unfunny moment involving Zap Brannigan, the Death by Snu Snu episode was a great one with him.
