Have you seen this movie?
Your thoughts?
What's your favourite quote from Fight Club?
Fight Club is a 1999 American film directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter. It is based on the 1996 novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. Norton plays the unnamed narrator, who is discontented with his white-collar job. He forms a "fight club" with soap salesman Tyler Durden (Pitt), and becomes embroiled in a relationship with a destitute woman, Marla Singer (Bonham Carter).

You know, I've never seen this movie and never will watch it, and yet I know the iconic quote... "The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club."

But do you know the second rule of fight club, HotD?!

It's a pretty decent movie overall, but it gets really good toward the end. I think a sequel would be nice, they set up an interesting and bizarre world there and I'd like to see what they could do with it.

I finally watched it a year or two ago. It was fine, but I don't understand the hype.

I don't know... but I'd happily go with "Second Rule, same as the first rule".

^Scarily accurate.

Movie's alright. I liked the book better (I know, I know...)

Up at camp we watched it a couple times. Some of the younger dumber staffers organised a soft version of fight club after hours, more about wrestling than actually whaling on each other. They invited me to join, and I gave that a hard pass. Our days were already thirteen hours-plus-----------workday's over, I want to relax, not have shirtless tickle-fights with other dudes in the mosquito-y high heat of summer.
