Have you ever been to karaoke?
If you had to sing in a karaoke tomorrow night, what song would you be most likely to choose?
Would you practice beforehand?
What one song would you never sing?

Re: Favourite Karaoke Songs
I've never done karaoke.
I'd probably sing 80s cartoon themes.
Probably not.
Any sappy love song.

Re: Favourite Karaoke Songs
I've done karaoke a few times, all up at camp. Favourite one to do was that old Tom Jones song 'Delilah'---------it's a crowd-pleaser, everyone joins in on the chorus. Probably wouldn't practice or do vocal warmups or anything, but I sing to amuse myself sometimes at work, so I can carry a tune reasonably well.

Re: Favourite Karaoke Songs
I've done karaoke a couple times. I don't mind singing in front of people at all, but I do get self conscious about song choice. I also don't know enough about music to know what's in my range from being told the key of the song. I got stranded singing "Can't Buy Me Love" one time and it turns out that's way high for me.

Re: Favourite Karaoke Songs
I've never sang and wouldn't want to, but if I had no choice it'd probably be something funny like Weird Al, I guess. I'd especially stay away from anything difficult.
Closest I ever got to singing karaoke was the time I lost a bet against a friend where the loser at Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter had to sing a song. I only took the bet because I had absolute confidence I'd win despite never playing the game once, figured it's got "Street Fighter" in the name so I can just sit back and hadoken, right?
He basically dragged me up there but I wasn't having any of it lmao

Re: Favourite Karaoke Songs
I've only done karaoke a handful of times, with different songs each time depending on the available catalog.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I'm interested in doing karaoke, but I don't like getting on stage in front of people.
