The Matrix films

With the fourth Matrix film being released later this year... which Matrix movie is your favourite, to date?
What are your favourite scenes?
The series features a cyberpunk story of the technological fall of mankind, in which the creation of artificial intelligence led the way to a race of self-aware machines that imprisoned mankind in a virtual reality system—the Matrix—to be farmed as a power source. Occasionally, some of the prisoners manage to break free from the system and, considered a threat, become pursued by the artificial intelligence both inside and outside of it. The films focus on the plight of Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) trying to free humanity from the system while pursued by its guardians, such as Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving).

I like the first one the most but it's less rewatchable than the second one; I like the fight scenes in it, and even the chase scenes are great.

Third one is still good. I don't like it nearly as much as the rest and hate the ending but it's interesting throughout. The Animatrix was sort of all over the place but that was great too.

I'd like the fourth one to be good but definitely won't get my hopes up about that.

My favorite scene is from the second movie where Neo fights the group of Smiths for the first time, though it could use some touchups to the CGI.

I liked the first one most. It had a good build-up--------------they didn't just spring it all on you from the word 'go'.

Second one also was enjoyable. Had my favourite scene in the franchise, actually (that car chase is fun stuff).

Third one...ugh.

Looking at the new trailer...you know, I have to say, Neo's looking pretty good, considering he was a smouldering eyeballs-burnt-out corpse the last time we saw him.
boo--------------a real american weirdo

I got almost halfway through that trailer before I realized it was fan made.

But yeah, the first Matrix film is my favorite. The second one is fun too. The Merovingian section of that one is pretty cool.

I love the original & the Animatrix.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
