Of those, which are your favourites?

Monopoly, for the annihilation of interpersonal relationships.

Pandemic is fun. Uh. It was also more fun pre-2020, ngl.

I played some board game that involved laying squares which made pathways your piece could move along, no recollection of its name, but that was also fun. You could try and make the other players run into the edges of the board or each other.

I like Monopoly and Chess. I've played a couple others but not many, these are the only ones I really liked at all (Chess is okay, Monopoly is great).

I like Monopoly because it's simple but fun, lots of luck but enough strategy to keep it interesting. Chess is Chess.

Their pieces, formats, and approachabilities.

I'll play just about any board game, but Monopoly has always been my favorite.

I have Ticket to Ride on Steam. I played it a bit but not much.

I've played Catan and Ticket to Ride, but I wasn't any good at them.

People assume I'd be good at chess and checkers, but I'm not. We never played them when I was growing up, so I never got any practice at either one.

I like Scrabble and Kings Cribbage. Drawing tiles and figuring out ways to exploit the current lay of the board to your advantage. Carcassonne is in that boat, too.

Gloomhaven looks neat, but it's pretty expensive. I don't want to spend that much on a game that I can't play solo.

(EDIT: Wait, does cribbage count as a board game? If so, that's the favourite.

From your list, I've played Catan, & it's pretty fun.
I also like Chess, Checkers, Clue, Scrabble, Trodgor, Trivial Pursuit, & some others.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
