Nickelodeon recently won the rights to the comic strip Phoebe and Her Unicorn, and plans to make it a multi-media franchise, including a cartoon and movies.

I've only read a couple strips, but I've heard the comic is pretty good. It's essentially Calvin and Hobbes, but with female characters.

'Phoebe and Her Unicorn' is pretty class. I actually like it better than 'Hilda', and I hope Nick does it right.

Definitely one of my favorite comic strips. Can't wait to see what they do with it.
