Mcdonalds survey
So i was at mcdonalds when one of the managers(wearing yellow) approached me and asked if I had the mcdonalds app to do the survey. I said yes and expected her to help me get to the survey place then let me do the survey but instead she took my phone and started putting the 'best' options for everything then submitted. 2 Questions
Is this normal for mcdonalds/any other dining places?
Doesn't it seem abit 'scummy' to do this?

That's not normal, no. It is scummy, yes.

Re: Mcdonalds survey
You would have been fully justified in taking your phone back and changing all the ratings to 'horrible', and then specifically commented that the manager had done that. You'd also be justified in complaining to corporate------------that's a ridiculously slimy behaviour, and the kind of thing that might make people stop going to McDonalds forever out of spite (if they hadn't already stopped going because it's way too flippin expensive these days).

Re: Mcdonalds survey
I had kept going to McDonald's because the app was consistently offering $1 breakfast sandwiches. Then one day they doubled it to $2.

^ I'm surprised they even have sandwiches for 2 bucks these days, they charge like $2.39 for a single pie now.

Re: Mcdonalds survey
I was amazed by the prices last time i went. Like, when the hell did two double cheeseburgers and two medium fries start costing like fifteen bux? I could get actual food at the corner diner for less, and the wait-staff would treat me like an actual human, to boot.
Guess I can't blame the McDonalds workers for being uncouth. They get paid three bux more per hour than they did thirty years ago, and the food costs like four times as much. I actually thought it was a joke when I heard fast-food employees could no longer afford fast food, and, yeah, it's a joke. But not the funny kind of joke. It's the kind of joke that Joker would tell.
McDonalds workers in Denmark get way better pay, plus dental and maternity leave. Just saying.

Re: Mcdonalds survey
I think it's only in California, but they get paid $20 minimum, which ain't bad at all. It actually resulted in a rash of business closures and cuts because they allegedly couldn't afford the wage hike.
I think if that's true it's likely corporate's fault in the end. I'm certainly no economist though, so I can only guess and vaguely criticize how society worships capitalism.

Oh my gosh. I always thought Wisconsin had the most liberal labour laws in the Union, and our minimum wage is less than half of California's?!? Eugene Debs must be rolling over in his grave.

Re: Mcdonalds survey
To be fair, I assume the cost of living is probably lower there (as well as crime, which can kinda be a form of lower prices too, in a preventative sense).

Re: Mcdonalds survey
Wisconsin has a fairly high cost of living. It shouldn't--------------people are fleeing. Milwaukee is a decaying hellhole, and most other places aren't much better.
