Re: Best and Worst Christmas Carols
I haven't heard most of those songs either (or at least not those iterations). I am curious about one or two (The Killers-------'Don't Shoot Me, Santa' sounds interesting, at least).
Anyone who'd compare Jackson 5-------'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santy Claus' to goldang 'Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer' needs their flippin head examined.
And I see the terrible nightmare that is Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas is You' didn't make the list. That song is genuinely scary. It's Motorhead-------'Ace of Spades' in a santa hat.
...I like fun Christmas songs. Like 'I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas', and Ray Stevens-------'Santa Claus is Watching You'. Ahahaa. Ray Stevens is a stitch.

Re: Best and Worst Christmas Carols
The only one that comes to mind is "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", but I'd recognize several others if I heard them. They're nice.

Re: Best and Worst Christmas Carols
So I'm watching 'Christmas Eve on Sesame Street' (it's free on YouTube!), and, in the context of watching CEOSS, 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas', the duet between Bert and Ernie, is enough to make me all misty. But then, that's pretty much everything in CEOSS.

Re: Best and Worst Christmas Carols
I've been caroling a few times.
Some of the best:
Silent Night
Little Drummer Boy
O Come All Ye Faithful
The Christmas Song
Elf's Lament
The Night Santa Went Crazy
Joy to the World
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Some of the worst:
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
The Christmas Shoes
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer
Do They Know It's Christmas
Christmas Vacation
Last Christmas
I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas
Carol of the Bells (it's so creepy!)
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Re: Best and Worst Christmas Carols
^I like 'Carol of the Bells', myself, but I heard this bizarre version a couple weeks ago that was super religious.
I super like the combination of 'Silent Night' and 'Night of Silence'. It's almost magical, hearing them performed together.
