I can't stand the guy but he's in a few good movies. Saving Private Ryan, You Story 1 & 2, and Castaway are solid.

I haven't seen a lot of the ones on that list. 'Splash' and 'Big' are both really funny, 'League of Their Own' is great, and I quite liked 'Road to Perdition', even though you can see the ending coming from a mile away. I hear it's based on a comic-------must remember to investigate further...

Not from that list, I really like his weird old comedies, like 'Volunteers' and 'The Man With One Red Shoe', and 'Joe Vs the Volcano'.
