We got any fans of MST3K on here? Anyone watched the revival?
What are your favorite episodes? Joel or Mike?
Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Big fan, here.
I didn't overly care for the revival. I mean, I liked the host segments fine, but the main event is the riffing on movies, and I simply didn't think the riffing was very funny.
I think my favourite episodes of all were probably the Sci-Fi era. Pretty hard to beat 'Time Chasers' and 'Space Mutiny'.

I kinda liked it when I was a kid, I was a sucker for snarky cartoony characters (which is why I was obsessed with Sonic). It's just too boring to slog through a bad film for good jokes, I think.

Still one of my favorite shows ever, & I like the revival seasons too.
As for Joel vs Mike: Don't compare yourself. It ain't healthy.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I haven't seen nearly enough MST3K but I love what I've seen. I enjoy the Netflix revival. It's worth its existence if not only for the Cry Wilderness episode.
Favorite episodes are probably Mitchell, Space Mutiny and Eegah. Obviously seeing the Manos episode at a young age had a lasting impact on my taste in garbage.
Joel and Mike are both great, but I think I've always meshed with Joel more.

So, what with it being Christmastime, I watched both the Santa Claus MST3K episodes. I like 'Santa Claus' better than 'Santa Claus vs the Martians'. It's weirdly charming, and the commentary busts me up.
[EDIT: Oh, wait, there's a third MST3K Santy Claus episode, now, isn't there. That one's in third place. I mean, it's okay, but I like the others better.
