I think they probably serve miracle whip in prison as punishment.

I'm out in Dakota. Sister and I went to the bar for her birthday dinner------------cook there makes really, really good, interesting bar food. We split all manner of delicious fried nibbles (cordon bleu bites, jalapeno mac'n'cheese poppers, spicy cauiflower, mushrooms, pickle chips), but the star of the show was a huge platter of reuben nachos-------------tortilla chips topped with swiss queso sauce, spicy kraut, corned beef bits and thousand island. It was something I'd never even considered existing-------------needless to say, I loved it.

Also...I mean, not to go TMI, but this is the first time I've been to a bar since I quit drinking, and I wasn't tempted to get even a beer, even when Sis started having people buy her drinks. Maybe I've turned the corner for real this time.

Sounds like a good time for multiple reasons. :)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Whew, delicious as hell line up there. Usually we're on a different page with food but most of that sounds yummy.

I had family with a lot of struggles with addiction, it's great when people can stop. Good job, Boo.
