That is when you find the expensive fish. You'll still catch a lot of sea bass but just throw them back till you get what you want.

The only other easy way is to play the turnip market and hope to get lucky.

If you think a glowing spot is a good site for a tree, bury 30,000 Bells, it's a risk seeing as how it might die, but if it is a good tree growing spot, you make 60,000 Bells in profit.
