Alright, Im playing the game and NOTHING is happening on explorers day! The mayor isnt here!No gifts! No mushrooms! The villiagers don't even MENTION it, so whats up with THAT!?!?!?

Yeah, I got the ship too. And over hear there having a freakin festival and they are singing like a friggin ohpera.

the mayor showed up for me, and gave me a bottled ship. I sold it to one of my neighbors for about 1200 bells

If you really want the ship, just set back the gamecube's clock. It doesn't hurt anything, and it's necessary if your real life (...Reeel Li-fuh?... Naw, just kidding =P) impedes with yur gameplay.
