This here is about rom save states. I'm wondering, I downloaded a hex program(or whatever), but I don't know how to download save states and use them. I'm trying to use them in Seiken Densetsu 3, Final Fantasy 5, etc. to get back to where I was and beat the damn games.
Anyone know about this stuff?

Eh, personally, I feel that emulation is okay if you only use for either images, or to play stuff you can't get in America. Okay, Final Fantasy 5 doesn't exactly fall into that category, but loading times suck.
To use savestates, the ROM and the state have to have the same name, and the savestate has to be in the savestate folder. Also, the state has to be compatible with the emulator (you can't use SNES9x savestates on ZNES).
Where are these lemmings going? The
Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

You're assuming we care. That would be where you were wrong. (It's not like Ninty will bother to rerelease most SNES games anymore, anyway.. and games like Seiken Densetsu 3 and Terranigma have never seen a release here.. so yeah. No one really gives a damn.)
Anyway, here's a link to the ZSNES forums:

Try asking there. Shane has a policy against much emulator/rom discussion.

The no emu/roms policy makes sense, considering that VGF used to be viewed as a major internet videogame publication. You wouldn't want Ninty considering your site a haven for thieves and therefore expendable, would you?

Yeah, because Nintendo is making oodles of profit off their NES and SNES games these days.
