personality wise: Cid Highwind, FF7

all around coolness wise: FF4 Cid (I'd use his last name, but I always forget it.)

fft and ff7. I liked ff4's. I didn't like the fact he jumped out an airship with a bomb capable of crushing a good sized landmass held to his face and dettonated...

But if there was a live-action Final Fantasy movie, then Harrison Ford would definitely play the part of Cid perfectly. Think about it, they're both old enough to be called gramps, are pilots of things that fly and are both very surly.

FF Tactics Cid.
He was much better than most kings in those days ever would be, for not being a king and all.
And Excalibur's a close second, I guess.
Aside from him, the one in FF VII.
