Comedian talking about Final Fantasy Legend

I remember years ago watching a I believe was a Comedy Central Presents episode with a Comedian, she was a female, talking about Video Games starting with first person shooters but then going on to Final Fantasy Legend, and talking about how the Final Boss was God.

I still haven't gotten to find or play Final Fantasy Legend, but I looked it up to see how accurate she was being, and yeah The Creator he was simply called in the English version.

It was pretty funny, but I can't remember the name of the Comedian, does anyone else remember watching that?

Most JRPGS have an obsession with being more powerful than God. That's nothing new.

But to answer your question, nah, I've never seen it.

Yeah now even Pokemon has made a Pokemon who's pretty much God.

I also remember watching it and laughing my ass off. Likewise, I don't remember her name.

Found it:
YouTube - Obscure Final Fantasy Joke

Her name is [strike]Robert Paulson[/strike] Jackie Kashian.

It misses some of the context though. The funniest part was just before she was talking about FFL when she was talking about how the worse the plot of the game is the better the gameplay is.

The irony is Final Fantasy Legend isn't even a Final Fantasy. It's part of the Saga series with the FF name attached to it so it could sell somewhat. -CSM

I didn't find that video to be all that funny, to be honest.

Though, I've never been too big a fan of stand-up.

It was funnier with the lead in material.

None of the actual FF games are connected to each other by Continuity or anything, so really what's the difference, it's an RPG made by Square, that's all any of the FFs really have in common.

So, Square should call all of its RPGs Final Fantasy?

What about the original, and 9's similarities?
Along with 9 and Chrystal chronicles having Stiltzskin and the mist in common.

Cloud appearing in tactics?
Characters from FF12 appearing in FFTA2
Along with FFTA characters appearing in FF12?

I'm sure that I'll get at least one person to agree with me when I say," You sir are FAIL."

Most FFs have a Cid, airships and some other thing.

Some are also connected: Vaan and Penelo both appear in FFTA2, which takes place in the same Ivalice.

Well, as 9 was the last FF game on the PS1, they purposefully molded it so that it would be a throwback to the original games; they added all those elements as a sort of homage.

There are definite connections in each of the games, but most games don't have a direct connection in terms of world/time period/plot.
