Ummmmmm, maybe you might want to ELABORATE why you disliked Xenogears? I personally loved it. Wonderful game. Some of the best music I've ever heard to boot.

Okay, no rebuttal.

Xenogears is my alltime favorite rpg, and yes it was kind of low budget and the designers ran out of money, but if you look deeper it has a wonderful storyline, the characaters are deep, work was put into the plot, it was orginal. The battle system was orginal, and my opinion is that the game is great.

They probably just didn't understand the story, which IMO is marvelous to behold once you've gone through and put the pieces together.
