I liked the IP bar battle system, so i guess Stratgetic would go there.

Well, I like 'em all. In all of them, you use strategy to beat up your opponents. As long as that is present, it doesn't suck.

For example, if all you're doing is pressing 'confirm' and then seeing a graphic of your character lunge at the enemy (or not even that), it's not very fun at all. That's why many people hate turn-based battles, because it's just so easy for it to degenerate into that.

Even though it's off topic...

1) Haste, Regen; very important. Barrier/Mbarrier also important, but not nescessary.
2) Ribbon accessory: very important. Put it on the character that has the restore and heal materia (paired with All), a good Enemy Skill (esp. a healing one), or you can use something like a Megalixir. So, that Super Nova attack will only put that character at critical, so he or she can heal everyone up!
3) This is the final battle, so make sure that you've equipped everyone's final weapon (even though they have no materia growth, who cares? it's the last battle). Mastered materia also work well here.
4) Also, since it's the last battle, use up those Megalixers, Elixer, Turbo Potions, Turbo Ethers, etc.

Also use up Power/Mind/Speed/etc. sources, but before the battle.

Note: a useful enemy skill is Big Guard, stolen from Beach Plugs (manipulate them, then cast it on you to learn it). Casts Haste and Barrier and MBarrier on ALL your allies.

ATB means Active Time Battle. Stuff like Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII, Chrono Trigger, etc. where after a period of time elapses a character can perform one action.
